Newbies & Bewbies is a mobile home visiting lactation and postnatal support service based in the South Eastern & Bayside suburbs of Melbourne.

With an emphasis on continuity of care, offerings include antenatal breastfeeding education, lactation and feeding support (including bottle feeding) after your baby arrives and a number of follow up support options. Click here to book an IN HOME appointment.

  • 90 min engaging in-home or virtual consultation (partners or support person encouraged to attend) that covers:

    • Understanding your breasts and how they make milk for your baby

    • Understanding supply and demand

    • Breast changes in early postpartum

    • What to expect from your baby in the first few days and weeks

    • Common feeding challenges and troubleshooting

    • Expressing

    • When to seek help

    • Plus so much more!!

  • A tailor made resources book that includes: a how to guide for hand expressing, postpartum recipes, practical ideas to support bonding and attachment with your baby and so much more!

  • An antenatal expressing kit

  • Follow up notes emailed within 24-48 hours, which may include a comprehensive plan to support your choices that you can provide to your pregnancy care team.

    • A history of breast surgery

    • A history of breastfeeding trauma

    • History or anxiety, depression or complex mental health conditions

“Nest to Office” is ideal if:

  • You are returning to work

  • Currently breastfeeding &/or expressing

  • Needing guidance and support in managing feeds and your supply while you are work

  • You would guidance on storage and transportation of your milk in the workplace

  • You would like support with your breastpump and ensuring it is fitting and working efficiently for you* (only available for in home bookings)

  • 60 min virtual or in home* consultation

  • *In-home consultation includes pump fit assessment
