Newbies & Bewbies is a mobile home visiting lactation and postnatal support service based in the South Eastern & Bayside suburbs of Melbourne.
With an emphasis on continuity of care, offerings include antenatal breastfeeding education, lactation and feeding support after your baby arrives and a number of follow up support options.
After hours, weekends and virtual consults available. Travel fees apply for visits greater than 10km from Bentleigh East (see FAQs for travel fee details).
Telehealth appointments available for families in regional &/or rural areas of Victoria &/or Australia. Please fill out an enquiry form to discuss suitability.

Breastfeeding is not linear and often we need continuing support.
You shouldn’t have to try and navigate your feeding journey on your own after our initial appointment.

15 minute free discovery call
3 x 90 minute in-home face to face or virtual sessions
Session One: 20-24 weeks
Together, we take a comprehensive history and provide you with space to debrief your prior experiences/s, explore your future goals
Session Two: 28-34 weeks
Breastfeeding education session that has been purposefully designed to meet your goals, needs and prior experiences that we discussed in our first session
Session Three: 36-38 weeks
An opportunity to discuss and further questions, review your feeding preferences and learn how to hand express
Support via text message and email
Tailored made resources at each session including a reflective journal, goal setting, promoting positive breastfeeding guide book and so much more.

“Robynne’s Nest” provides a compassionate, empathetic and gentle approach to care that is ideal for:
Families who need the same support as “Feathered Beginnings” but also:
feel they would benefit from extra support with feeding
Are feeling overwhelmed and want a “slower pace” to their in home support
May be navigating a complicated feeding &/or birth journey
May have additional mental health needs
Want to also focus on ideas for bonding and connection with their baby through play
Want additional physical, emotional and psychological support

3 hour in-home consultation, that includes breastfeeding &/or mixed feeding assessment and support
